Leonardo DiCaprio to Receive Green Award at Kids Choice Awards
Leonardo DiCaprio is no stranger to being “green” or getting awards so him receiving an award for being “green” shouldn’t really shock anyone! The Academy Award nominee will be honored at this year’s Kid’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles with the first ever “Big Green Help Award“.
Leo will be recognized for his dedication as an environmental activist, as well as his inspiring work, which includes directing and producing the award-winning environmental documentary “The 11th Hour”, an eco-focused Web site and a namesake foundation.
Fellow environmentalist, Cameron Diaz, will be presenting the award to her “Gangs of New York” co-star at the show this Saturday (March 28) at 8pm.
