Elizabeth Hurley and Prince Charles: Partners In Organic Farming?

princecharles_hurley

Elizabeth Hurley and Prince Charles may be unlikely business partners, but we’re going to let that go- it’s all in the name of organic! The pair recently announced that they will produce an organic food line from the meats and grain raised on Hurley’s 400-acre farm in the UK. The products will be sold as part of Prince Charles’ sustainable food label, Duchy Originals.  The label was created in 1990 to promote organic food and farming and all profits will go to charity.

Said Hurley, “His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales is an inspiration to me because of his passionate belief in organic food and farming and his unwavering commitment to help protect and sustain the countryside. I feel honored to be working with Duchy Originals and am extremely excited about the products we are developing together.”

We admire their commitment to organic food. Next time we’re in the UK, we’ll have a taste!
