Alicia Silverstone Designs Eco-Friendly Beauty Accessories
Calling all beauty fans! Come December, there will be a new line of environmentally-friendly makeup brushes and bags designed by vegan actress Alicia Silverstone.
“This is a conscious product line that is good for the planet,” says Alicia.
Alicia is partnering with EcoTools for the collection, which will (of course) be eco-friendly. The brushes will be made from bamboo, with synthetic fibers, while the prettyfloral bags will be made with hemp and non-toxic ink and decorated with Alicia’s favorite plants- lavender, rose, chrysanthemum, cosmo and thyme.
“I wanted to do something rough, so the hemp was perfect. I even spilled soy sauce on one [bag], threw it in the washer and it turned out great.”
“With this collection, we wanted to show everyone that you don’t have to sacrifice style to make environmentally-conscious choices. You can use earth-friendly materials and still look fantastic!”
