Adrian Grenier Plants A Garden
Actor and eco-advocate Adrian Grenier is pushing for a more earth-friendly life, both on the set of Entourage and at home. He’s met a few challenges along the way, but has already made positive changes, starting in his own backyard.
“I just put in a garden myself, I was inspired. I’m growing zucchini, lettuce, tomatoes, strawberries and corn.”
Adrian says that he’s working around a few difficulties as he pushes to get the Entourage set a little greener.
“At one point, we wanted to use all bio-diesel generators on-set, but it’s just not viable as the technology isn’t up to par. So what we did was just replace one generator. It’s a slow process of transformation.”
So when does he expect the green movement to get easier?
”It’s a constant struggle, it’s about habits. We are habitual creatures and people don’t always want to change. They only want to do what they know.”
But as Adrian shows, every little change is a step in the right direction.
