Nicole Richie Auctions Harlow’s Hand Me Downs for Charity
Whats a celebrity mom to do when their darling little one has outgrown the designer duds you paid mucho money for? If you’re Nicole Richie, you auction them off for charity! The actress has partnered with HandMeDowns.com to auction off clothing, shoes, and even an autographed Maclaren Lacoste stroller with all proceeds going to benefit the Richie-Madden Foundation, a charity that she and rocker boyfriend Joel Madden created. The foundation is dedicated to bringing meaningful opportunities to children in the U.S. and abroad, while also striving to bring light and laughter into their lives through unique entertainment and special events.
The auction started today and will run through April 17, 2009. Also up for grabs: Harlow’s Stride Ride patent leather mary jane shoes, a bright red Gymboree romper and Minnetonka Moccasins.
Angelina Jolie is said to be joining in on the auction fun next month with items from her children Knox, Viv, Shiloh, Zahara, Pax, and Maddox.
