Miley Cyrus In A Bikini – Fat or Fit?

Miley Cyrus is firing back at critics who called her fat after being photographed in a bikini while on vacation in the Bahamas. Taking to Twitter, the star said,
“Talk all you want. I have my flaws. I’m a normal girl (sic) there’s things about my body I would change but stop with calling me f*t in post.”
‘I don’t even like the word. Those remarks that you hateful people use are fighting words. The ones that scar people and cause them to do damage to themselves or others.’
‘People that are so okay with being so hateful disgust me and need to spend last time on a gossip website and more time a. reading your bible b. reading stories/articles about what happens when cyber abuse and name calling happens. Kids hurt themselves.’
‘This is not something to be taken lightly. I know these ‘message boards’ are ‘no big deal’ to YOU but (it) is to the victim. This has got to stop!’
‘oh and ps if [your] thighs don’t jiggle go see a doctor. thanks’
And there you have it. Before I saw these pictures, I was thinking, “ok, she’s a kid, maybe she’s still growing into her body”, but after I saw them I was shocked! She looks amazing! I think she has a fantastic body and can’t understand for the life of me why anyone would call her fat! Your thoughts?

You’re so right.
She looks AMAZING, I could only wish to look that good.
Props for her for not caving to the Hollywood Skinny either!
Thanks, Lucy! and yes, it’s fantastic that she’s taking a stand instead of just falling into the usual skinny celeb route!
I have gotten to the point many years ago where I myself developed and eating disorder from being in ballet my whole life. People do not understand the horrible things that just slip off there tongue or words they type on the keyboard do actually have an impact, maybe not on the person they are talking about but to people everywhere who read their comments! I know that eating disorders are VERY real, and very difficult to deal with, it takes years to get back to accepting yourself and I know I am not even close yet! So, I am so proud of Miley for taking a stand on this, because this is honestly something that cannot be ignored anymore, IT HAS TO STOP!
I am a little chubby and proud of it. Of course I am a 35 year old married man with 2 kids, so no one really cares
Miley looks great. She’s still just a teen, she has young fans and what type of message is the media sending to them?
If Miley’s fat then I’m obese, she’s projecting a positive image to fans, and that’s always a good thing.
Skyeiris – Very well said. Thanks so much for sharing your story. It really makes a difference when people see real examples of people like yourself who have been affected by, what most people consider to be, “just words”.
mlb – lol
mia – I agree, a positive image is so important to her young fans.
Why is our body image so important to other people. It doesn’t matter how much money you make, everyone is still human. I think she looks great and shouldn’t have to go through life worring the judgement other people put on here about body image. Everyone is beautiful in their own way, and we shouldn’t have to worry about what we look like for our beauty to show through. This is why we have so many young girls going through so much emotional trama when they look at someone like this, and hear others calling her fat! My goodness, i don’t think she even has an ounce of fat on her! God Bless you Miley, you are an amazing girl!
She looks incredible, and any healthy person can see that. The so-called “critics” are either pathologically jealous or out to stir up trouble. Either way, they’re the unhealthy ones. Good for Miley for ttaking a stand.
miley cyrus is a promising your actress with a future career in both singing and acting. she is a very talented girl that is why my kids admire her.
Miley is so right about those people out there that call people f*t.I even agree that I dont like that word either. So for who ever calls people that name on an ordinary basis go read the bible and think twice before saying mean things like that.
