Looking to Get ‘Phitter?’

If you’re committed to getting fit in 2010 and you don’t want to do it alone, you might want to check out Phitter, a new online community created by Kirstie Alley.

Phitter, as you might have guessed, was modeled after Twitter. Sign up and you can follow other health and fitness-motivated users and post ‘phits’ about your workout, diet or healthy lifestyle.

The Phitter website encourages users to:

“Share what you know about fitness, wellness, weight loss, diet, healthy food tips, stores, markets, online sites, and whatever…share great links others should know about…”

We think it’s an interesting idea- a modern support group for anyone experiencing the ups and downs of weight loss and fitness.

Tell us, what do you think of Kirstie Alley’s latest weight loss-related venture? Will Phitter help to motivate and inspire its users? Will you sign up?
