Teri Hatcher Gets Triathlon-Ready!

Teri Hatcher is in full-on training and fund-raising mode for the September 13 Nautica Malibu Triathlon! Teri not only plans to compete, she will also raise at least $10,000 for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
So what prompted this massive fitness undertaking? Competing in a triathlon happens to be one of Teri’s lifetime fitness goals. From the look of her blog, she’s well on her way to reaching it!
“I have single-handedly taken my carbon footprint significantly down by riding my bike to work at least 3 times a week. I’m running on my treadmill so I’ve had to find room in my closet for the clothes that normally hang on it, and I’m swimming 50 to 80 laps in my pool. Thus the pool no longer serves as a leaf and bee catcher,” Teri blogs at teamhatcher.org.
“I’m really finding the swim and bike to be a lot of fun, though I have no awareness of my time. I’m in it for the kids and just to finish without walking.”
The hardest element of the triathlon for Teri? Undoubtedly the run.
“I’ve got to say, the run is HARD. Those last four miles make my knees ache and my chest burn.”
