Richard Simmons Gives Weight Loss Advice to Jessica Simpson

Ah, how we here at Healthy Hollywood love the Sweatin’ to the Oldies King!  Richard Simmons is known far and wide for helping thousands of people lose weight and now he’s turning his attention to Hollywood.  The short shorts wearing fitness guru has a few words of advice for Jessica Simpson on how to lose those extra curves.  He tells Entertainment Tonight,

“I was 268 pounds — I’ve been there.  We eat for so many reasons. Most of the reasons are emotional.  We have to start liking ourselves more before we start taking better care of ourselves.”

He goes on to say,

“It’s just so tough to be exposed, and let people see you gain weight. I pray for all those celebrities who are having a really tough time.”
