How Anne Hathaway Got Fit for “Get Smart”
Anne Hathaway had a lot of butt kicking to do as Agent 99 in her new film, Get Smart. She told Fitness Magazine that in order to prepare for the role she called in one of Hollywood’s favorite trainers, Ramona Braganza. Ramona put Anne on an hour long training program, five to six days a week and focused on her arms and legs. Here’s the program broken down:
10 minutes: Cardio warm up on the elliptical machine
10 minutes: Circuit training, doing 3 sets of total-body strength moves using free weights
10 minutes: High-intensity cardio on the elliptical machine
10 minutes: Circuit training
10 minutes: High-intensity cardio on the elliptical machine
10 minutes: Cooldown split between ab work and total body stretching moves
It’s definitely an intense workout but a great option for those of us who don’t have hours to spend at the gym! And, the results speak for themselves because Anne looks amazing in the film!
In addition to this program, Anne also says she ran “3 miles every morning” and took up martial arts a month before shooting.
