Emma Watson Adds ‘Eco-Friendly Designer’ To Her Resume

If you are familiar with Harry Potter star Emma Watson, you know that she’s grown into one of the most-watched style idols of the moment. Fortunately, Emma is also an environmentalist who is out to change the world through responsible and sustainable fashion!
Her latest project is a collaboration with the eco-friendly clothing company People Tree, resulting in a capsule collection called Love From Emma.
“I wanted to help People Tree produce a younger range because I was excited by the idea of using fashion as a tool to alleviate poverty and knew it was something I could help make a difference with.”
The line will be made by by fair trade groups, using 100% organic fair trade cotton, with embroidery, weaving and knitting techniques done by hand.
“I think young people like me are becoming increasingly aware of the humanitarian issues surrounding fast fashion and want to make good choices but there aren’t many options out there.”
Look for the collection in February 2010! We can’t wait to see what she’ll do with her stellar eye for design. You can find more information here.

She’s getting more and more beautiful these days don’t you think so? I think it’s very noble to support green product, definitely is the trend and it’s a win win both environmentally and financially.
