Ali Larter Shares Her Philosophy on Working Out
Actress Ali Larter has been looking amazing for many years in Hollywood now. Remember that whipped cream bikini in “Varsity Blues”? Yep, that was her! These days she’s a bit more… clothed… and staring in Heroes on NBC. The 31 year old has a basic philosophy when working out. She loves exercising outside – especially hiking in the Hollywood Hills with her dog, Eleanor – and says,
“This is a nonnegotiable. I don’t think about it, I just do it. I never, ever miss my workout. Never!”
Talk about dedication! Ali also says,
“The older I get, the more in tune I am with my body. I want to age into a healthy, beautiful woman. I want to take care of myself”
In my opinion, this is really what it’s about. The goal for working out should always be to lead a healthy lifestyle and take care of yourself. If you’re doing it to just be a skinny mini, you’re doing it for the wrong reasons. Losing weight is always a great side effect to eating properly and working out and one that my clients greatly appreciate.
It’s a wonderful idea for everyone to practice Ali’s philosophy and never, no matter what, ever, miss a workout. It should go on your schedule just like a business meeting.
Remember, there is no quick fix. It’s about doing the right things (establishing a healthy diet and exercising) that will keep you fit and healthy for a long time to come!
