Zac Efron Supports the Elephant Project

Zac Efron Supports the Elephant Project

David Niederhoffer is an 18 year old who started what he calls, “The Elephant Project” after his grandfather passed away in 2006 after battling Alzheimer’s disease.  Since an elephant never forgets, David thought of the perfect way to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association.  He purchased two stuffed elephants and headed to Broadway theaters to wait for celebrities.  David simply requests that celebrities pose with an elephant and autograph a card.  He then auctions off the photos and autographs to raise money.  So far he’s raised $11,633.50 with the help of celebrities like Zac Efron, Felicity Huffman, Rosie O’Donnell, and many more!

That’s pretty impressive, David!

I wish more of young Hollywood did things like this, Mark. But then, that’s the whole point of this site… to feature those that do! :)
