Mischa Barton Answers Weight Criticism With Nude Cover Shoot
Since Mischa Barton grabbed the media’s attention with her role on The O.C., she’s been criticized for being too thin, too large and everything in between. Now Mischa speaks out about her shape in an interview with UK Cosmopolitan that also includes a nude cover shoot. It seems that Mischa loves her body now more than ever!
“The only way to be happy and be a more enjoyable person to be around is to embrace what you’ve got. Everyone has issues about their body, but I feel confident now. I’m healthy and happy,” says Mischa.
She’s says that she’s learned to put trivial issues, like cellulite, out of her mind.
“Surely there are more important issues than if someone has cellulite? And I don’t understand the point of people looking for bad things. Why bother? I know it’s human nature to want to pick on other people, but I find it a little shallow.”
Mischa admits that her recent breakup was actually a catalyst for her to change.
“I’ve grown so much in the past six months. It’s because I’ve been single. I’ve forced myself to grow up – I really felt like it was time. And nothing makes you grow like finding out that somebody or something isn’t good for you.”
