Mandy Moore’s Must-Haves For Health

mandy_moore

Mandy Moore, now 25 and newly married to musician Ryan Adams, is no longer the young pop singer you may remember from her single Candy, which debuted ten years ago. Mandy has adopted an adult view of her body and her health, a view that’s lead her to a regular fitness routine and several alternative therapies.

“I’m into having balance in my life and trying to treat myself well,” Mandy tells Women’s Health magazine.

Her fitness routine now includes hikes (during which she attempts to avoid paparazzi) and Pilates three to four times a week. And she says that acupuncture is a new favorite form of therapy.

“I’ve come to love acupuncture. It’s so restorative. It brings me back to myself.”

Mandy also enjoys the ‘freeing’ benefits of talking through her life with a therapist.

“You go in thinking, ‘Wow, I have nothing to talk about. Where is this hour gonna go?’ And before you know it, time’s up. I don’t have to burden my friends with the same things over and over again, and it’s fascinating to get an unbiased point of view, to not feel like anybody would judge you. It’s very freeing.”

We love Mandy’s commitment to health through physical and mental balance. Check out what Mandy has to say about her diet weaknesses here.
