Ashton Kutcher Celebrates Twitter Victory With Donation
Ashton Kutcher did it! He trumped CNN in their race to be the first to collect over one million Twitter followers! In the end Ashton (@aplusk) reached the one million mark only about 30 minutes before CNN (@cnnbrk). Talk about a heated battle! Check out Ashton and wife Demi Moore during the last few stressful moments of the race here.
So what’s he doing to celebrate his victory?
Ashton is donating $100,000 to Malaria No More, which will buy about 10,000 mosquito nets to be distributed in Africa. CNN has said that it will join Ashton in donating to the charity. We’ll stay tuned to see who makes the biggest donations!

I wonder what he would have done if he hadn’t beat CNN. Would he just not donate? That would almost seem like some really bad publicity.
