What’s Lori Loughlin’s Secret Weapon for Workouts?

Lori Loughlin has had her share of practice at being a mom on tv (Full House and now 90210) and in real life (she has two young daughters). But the fit, blonde actress always seems to have endless energy and look amazing. She spilled a few of her secrets in Health magazine.

First off, the fit 44-year old doesn’t ever operate in diet mode:

“The minute I tell myself I’m on a diet, I want to eat everything in front of me—I’m starving! For me, it’s more about portion control and cutting out foods that have a lot of fat.”

But what’s her real secret weapon?

“My iPod. If I didn’t use it, I wouldn’t get on the treadmill! If I know I have a mix programmed for myself, I’m more inspired. I really love that Pink song, ‘So What (I’m Still a Rock Star).’ And I like Kanye West, Maroon 5, and old Led Zeppelin.”

Lori counts yoga, hiking, treadmill classes and Pilates among her favorite workouts. Switching it up is a great way to crosstrain, plus it sounds like she’ll never get bored!
