Sandra Bullock Hits the Dressing Room Ready for Battle

Sandra Bullock doesn’t consider herself to be a designer darling- she’s much too laid back and content being casual. But, she tells Harper’s Bazaar magazine, she does get serious when the formal attire comes out, making sure that she’s at her best.

“Before a shoot or an event, if I’m not fitting into sample size, I think, ‘This is going to be a battle,‘” she says.

Which usually isn’t a problem for the athletic actress who, according to Bazaar, mixes up her workouts with running, Pilates and spinning with trainer Eden Paul. Sandra says that this array of activities balances her “sports ADD.”

In addition to her acting career, Sandra has opened a restaurant and a general store in Austin, TX where she resides. She also spends time on an avocado and citrus ranch outside San Diego that has taught her about the challenges of organic farming.

“I said, ‘I’m going to make the ranch all organic, self-sustaining. We’re going to drill our own wells!’ I didn’t know anything. To grow organic is hard and expensive. It’s a good lesson.”

Though she says that she often fields pregnancy-related questions from the media, she’s content with exactly what she has.

“I’m not going to spend two seconds of my life wishing I had something I don’t. It’s hard to do it your way when you hear everyone else telling you to do it their way,” she tells Bazaar.
