Randy Jackson is Writing a Diet Book

It’s true! American Idol’s Randy Jackson is joining the list of celebrities writing diet books. His book titled, The No-Nonsense Guide to Getting Fit, Eating Better, and Living Longer promises to hold the key to the “new you”. Randy, 51, who announced this year that he has Type II diabetes, says he has tried every diet under the Sun, and he swears that his new approach can change your life.  The book hits stores this November.

Now, it’s no secret that Randy had gastric bypass surgery in 2003 which helped him lose 150 pounds.  As for keeping the weight off since then, I’m not sure what Randy’s diet and workout has been but I’m guessing he’s going to tell us.  What do you think?  Would you buy his diet book?

I suppose that counts! ;) I’m very interested to see his plan as well.

  3. It’s sad that any book Randy might bring to dieting is lost because of his gastric bypass which clearly taints any results he might claim for his diet.Any one who thinks that it has no influence on his weight and diet is wrong.

I think it would have gone down much better had he lost the weight exclusively by diet and exercise maybe a good alternate title for the book would be How to exercise your dawg and dawg’s food guide to healthy living.
