Nick Carter Sobers Up and Slims Down!

Nick Carter has had his struggles with drugs and alcohol and has spoken publicly about it several times.  In fact, years of abuse left him with cardiomyopathy, a potentially fatal weakening of the heart muscle. But the good news, out of all of this, is that his diagnosis enabled him to turn his life around! 

Nick got sober and embarked on a healthier lifestyle that helped him drop 57 lbs. Today, the Backstreet Boy works out five times a week and eats a balanced 2,000-calories-a-day diet of egg-white omelets, grilled chicken and veggies. And thinking positively keeps him on track.  He tells People Magazine,

“If I continue to stay strong, then I won’t go backwards.”
