Heather Locklear Likes to Try New Things

Heather Locklear is still fab and fit at 46!  She tells Us Weekly that she loves trying new things to stay fit.  She says she lifts weights and hits the treadmill and Stairmaster four times a week and sticks to salads and protein for her diet.  A friend of the star says that she recently took up surfing while shooting in Hawaii and absolutely loved it!

It’s a great time for all of us to start trying new things, especially outdoors.  Keep in mind, I’m talking about exercise here!! :) There are so many ways to stay fit while still enjoying this beautiful Spring weather.  Walking is always an easy way while things like biking, running, or hiking will really get your heart pumping while burning off tons of calories.  Boating is another great way to burn calories and of course, so is swimming!  Or, you could go Heather’s route and try surfing!  It’s a fabulous way to tone your entire body.
