Cameron Diaz Stays Slim with The Lunch Box Diet

Cameron Diaz is no stranger to being thin, tone, and full of life. So, how does the actress do it? One of her tricks is that she follows The Lunch Box Diet. I have to tell you that I really, really like this plan. It’s so easy and is 100% healthy!

Basically, you take a plastic box that you can carry with you to work, school, etc. (a lunch box) and fill it with a healthy mix of 60 percent vegetables, 30 percent protein and 10 percent fat. Then, you spend the day grazing from the box, eating only when you feel hungry and only enough to where you feel satisfied. This plan works to boost your metabolism, maintain your blood sugar levels, and prevent overeating at mealtimes! You can also add complex carbs as an option but you’re encouraged only to do this if you’re going to be active during the day. Your breakfast and dinner stay the same.

It’s such an easy option for busy lifestyles and a great way to limit unhealthy snacking during the day. My only caution would be to make sure you are also eating a healthy breakfast and dinner and drinking plenty of water throughout the day. Elle Magazine has said the diet is a “way of life” and I tend to agree!
