10 Foods For A Flatter Tummy

If you’re still looking for ways to flatten your tummy for that hot new bikini you’ve been dying to wear, look no further!  Us Weekly has published a list of 10 foods that help give you a flatter tummy, just in time for beach season.  So, without further ado…

  1. Extra Virgin Olive Oil - helps reduce belly fat
  2. Foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids like walnuts and salmon - reduces the stress hormone cortisol, which contributes to belly fat
  3. Green Tea - helps with water retention
  4. Nonfat Yogurt - contains bacteria to help the digestive system and debloat your tummy
  5. Fiber - like whole grains, keeps you full so you don’t overeat
  6. Bananas - contain potassium which gets rid of water-retaining sodium
  7. Strawberries & Raspberries - contain ellagic acid that improves the body’s ability to burn fat
  8. Ginger - reduces gas and calms upset tummies
  9. Artichokes - help with digestion
  10. Proteins - such as grilled chicken and egg whites keep you satiated
