Jennifer Lopez looked stunning in a red dress and heels at a reception sponsored the The Jennifer Lopez Foundation held at the Denver Art Museum in Denver, Colorado on Wednesday.

The 39-year-old new mom joined CauseCast, Viacom and Capitol File magazine in honoring Marian Wright Edelman, the found of the Children’s Defense Fund.

The CDF is a a research and advocacy group that tries to ensure every child a healthy start, a head start, a fair start, a safe start, and a moral start in life and successful passage to adulthood with the help of caring families and communities.

Being on the road is a must for celebrities but so is staying in fantastic shape! So, how do they put the two together successfully? Here five celebrities tell us how they manage to never leave home without their workouts.

Kate Hudson - “I jog everywhere. It’s one of those things that you can do regardless of where you are and it keeps me in great shape.”

Petra Nemcova - “I use resistance bands… They’re easy to pack.”

Minka Kelly - “I make sure there is a gym in the hotel, but if there’s not, I do jump squats and crunches in the hotel room. And I do as much outside as I possibly can - I make sure to run 45 minutes every day.”

Sophia Bush - “I tend to overpack, so lugging my suitcase through the airport is good for the arms!”

Monique Coleman - “I bring ankle weights or a Pilates ring in my bag, and I just do simple leg and arm exercises.”

Brad Pitt and George Clooney to Walk Red Carpet for Charity

Brad Pitt and George Clooney appeared on the red carpet Tuesday night to bring awareness to their charity, Not On Our Watch.

The charity, which was launched last year by the stars and some of their Ocean’s Thirteen colleagues, uses their star appeal to bring attention to human rights abuses, but it isn’t so easy to get even two of the founders together because of filming and family demands says executive director Alex Wagner.

“Scheduling is very difficult. Two of them happened to be in Venice at the same time because of the ‘Burn After Reading’ premiere … so there was a brainstorming session,” she said.

Clooney discussed the issues and where the charity puts its money at the fundraising dinner on Venice’s Giudecca island, which was attended by some 200 industry insiders and Italian VIPs, Wagner said.

Not On Our Watch has raised more than $7 million to help victims both of the humanitarian crisis in the Darfur region of Sudan and the cyclone in Myanmar, also known as Burma, according to Wagner.

Just because you’re an A-list movie star like Tom Cruise doesn’t mean you can’t get diet tips from your friends.  And if your friend is David Beckham, all the better!  According to Britains Daily Mail,

“David has been round at Tom’s house a lot. While Katie and Victoria have been swapping fashion tips on the phone, David has been advising Tom on diet. “Tom has a private gym at his home and David has been working out with him. He also gave him diet advice. Tom has been sticking to 1,200 calories a day, mostly grilled chicken and fish with lots of vegetables, salads and fruit.

As for his workout, a source tells the British magazine,

“David put together a work-out regime that included the treadmill, weight training and fencing lessons together.”

The result?  Tom has shed 10 pounds in just six weeks with the sports star’s help!  Pretty impressive, Tom!
